1. General
These general terms and conditions apply between EKA1882 AB (org. no. 556372-1553) and you who place an order from us via www.eka1882.com. Detailed contact information and other information about the Company can be found on the Website. The terms and conditions apply only to you as a consumer who places your order and thereby purchases a product from us via the Website.
In addition to the Terms and Conditions, the Company's privacy policy also applies. In this policy, you can read about how we process your personal data when you shop with us.
As a private individual, you must be over 18 years of age and not under guardianship. If you are under 18 years of age, your parent's or guardian's consent is required to order from us.
We may change these Terms and Conditions at any time, but the changes you approved at the time of your purchase will always apply to that purchase. All changes will be reflected in the latest published version of the Terms and Conditions on the Website. Changes take effect from the time you have accepted the Terms and Conditions, i.e., in connection with a new purchase.
2. Agreement and Order
To be able to make a purchase via www.eka1882.com, you must accept the Terms and Conditions.
After receiving an order, EKA 1882 AB will send you an order confirmation as soon as possible via e-mail, confirming the order. An agreement for purchase is not entered into until EKA1882 AB has confirmed the order in writing and you have received the order confirmation by e-mail.
We reserve the right to refuse an order, for example, if you have provided incorrect information or the order cannot be fulfilled due to out of stock.
Please note that we never backorder products that are temporarily out of stock. Such products must be reordered at another time.
3. Product Information, etc.
We reserve the right to sell out of products and any image or typographical errors on www.eka1882.com, in advertisements or other marketing material and product descriptions. EKA1882 AB has the right to correct such errors, change or update the information on www.eka1882.com and to continuously make product changes and improvements on the website.
Images on www.eka1882.com showing products, in advertisements and other marketing material should only be seen as illustrations and not as any specification of the product's properties, functions, origin or any warranty. EKA1882 is not responsible for information on www.eka1882.com that comes from a third party.
The content on www.eka1882.com is protected by copyright. Product names and logos may also be protected by trademark law or by market law legislation. This means that trademarks, company names, product names, images and graphics, design, layout and information about products, services and other content may not be copied or used without the prior written consent of EKA1882 AB.
4. Prices and Payment
When ordering, the prices apply that are stated on www.eka1882.com at the time of ordering, unless otherwise expressly agreed or unless the circumstances clearly indicate otherwise. All prices are stated in Swedish kronor (SEK) and include applicable VAT. Prices do not include any payment and shipping fees, which are stated separately. The total price for the order is shown before you complete the order and in the order confirmation.
EKA1882 strives to ensure that www.eka1882.comcontains as much correct information as possible. However, we reserve the right that the specified website may contain typographical errors and incorrect prices and we are not bound by prices that you realized or should have realized were incorrect. If an incorrect price has been stated for an ordered product, we will notify you and await your approval of the corrected price before the order is considered approved.
You can pay for your purchase through the payment options and according to the separate payment terms specified on www.eka1882.com. We reserve the right not to always offer all payment methods or to change the payment method if the one you have chosen does not work for some reason at the time of purchase.
5. Campaigns, Discount Codes and Other Offers
EKA 1882 AB may from time to time conduct campaigns, discount codes, and other offers for various products. For products covered by such Offers, the favorable price or the favorable terms apply during the limited period that is specified in connection with the current Offer or as long as stocks last. Otherwise, these Terms and Conditions apply.
Offers may not be combined with other discounts unless otherwise expressly stated. In the event of the termination or withdrawal of an Offer, these Terms and Conditions shall apply in their entirety to the products that were previously covered by the Offer.
6. Abandoned Shopping Cart
If you have placed items in your shopping cart without completing an order, we can send you an email reminder of the products you have placed in your shopping cart, provided that you:
- are a customer and do not object to marketing from us, or
- have otherwise consented to receiving marketing from us.
You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in the email you receive.
You can recreate the shopping cart with all the products you have placed in it at any time. If you do not want to recreate the shopping cart, you do not need to take any action. The price and availability of the products are based on the prices and availability that were in effect when you placed the products in the shopping cart. We therefore reserve the right to change prices in connection with various Offers and for clearance sales.
7. Delivery
Shipping costs will be added to your order unless otherwise expressly stated in connection with your order. More information about the delivery options we offer can be found on the Website. Please note that there may be limitations on the different options.
Delivery time may vary depending on the option you choose. The expected delivery time can be found on www.eka1882.com and will be shown to you during the ordering process.
Unless otherwise specifically agreed, delivery will take place no later than 14 days from the date EKA1882 has confirmed the order in writing by order confirmation. Please note that delivery times are approximate and may vary. If your order is delayed, you will receive a notification about this.
Before delivery, you will receive a notification showing where and when your order is to be collected or received. You are responsible for receiving or redeeming your order within the time specified in the notification. Packages are primarily collected in person with valid identification and order number. For unclaimed orders, we have the right to charge a fee of 150 SEK for our handling costs of the order and for the return shipping to us.

8. Right of Withdrawal for Private Individuals
When purchasing products from www.eka1882.com, you have the right to withdraw your order within 14 days without giving any reason, with the exceptions stated below. If you want to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us within 14 days from the date you received the ordered product (the "Withdrawal Period").
When you make your purchase via www.eka1882.com, you have the right to open the packaging and inspect the product to the extent necessary to assess whether you are satisfied with it. If and to the extent that the product is handled to a greater extent than is necessary to determine its characteristics or function, EKA1882 AB has the right to make a deduction for depreciation on the amount that EKA1882 AB is to refund to you. The amount of the deduction corresponds to the product's depreciation compared to the product's original value.
Please note that certain products are not covered by the right of withdrawal. The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following types of products:
- goods that have been manufactured according to your instructions or that have otherwise been given a clear personal touch;
- goods with a broken seal that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons (e.g., underwear, cosmetics, swimwear, hair dryers and similar products, razors, electric toothbrushes, scales, heating pads and foot baths);
- a good that can quickly deteriorate or become outdated;
- audio or video recordings (e.g., a CD) or computer programs with a broken seal; or
- digital content that is delivered other than on a physical medium (e.g., computer programs, applications, games, music, videos or texts where access is by download or direct playback).
By accepting the Terms and Conditions, you agree that the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content that is delivered other than on a physical medium.
In connection with an order for a product for which the right of withdrawal does not apply, you will receive clear information about this. If a product has been sealed, you must not break the seal if you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal. The right of withdrawal thus ceases when you break the seal. Sealing also includes technical sealing (e.g., serial number).
If you want to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must send a clear and unambiguous message to EKA1882 AB before the Withdrawal Period has expired. For smooth handling, the message should include your name, address, order number, order date, email address and which products you regret if the order contains several products. The message can be sent via our complaint and return form, or alternatively the standard form for withdrawal that the Swedish Consumer Agency has developed, see here.
Products must be sent to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days after the day you notified us of your decision to withdraw from the contract. The withdrawal period shall be deemed to have been complied with if you send the goods back before the end of this 14-day period. When returning products that are covered by the right of withdrawal, you shall before returning the goods wait for a return slip from us by email. You are responsible for the condition of the returned product from the time you receive the product until we receive it. We therefore recommend that the product be sent in its original packaging and well-packed with trackable shipping (EKA1882 Return slip).
If you regret your purchase, we will refund all payments we have received from you, excluding delivery costs. The refund will be made without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date you notified us of your decision to withdraw from your purchase. The refund will be made using the same payment method you chose when ordering unless we have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, the refund will not cost you anything except the first delivery cost. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back from you or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever comes first.
9. Open Purchase for Private Individuals
In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, EKA1882 AB offers all customers an open purchase for 14 days and a right of exchange. Returns must be made to EKA1882 AB and handled in the manner described under point 8 above.

10. Warranty
For products that are covered by a warranty, the warranty period and other conditions for making a warranty claim can be found in connection with the respective product description on the Website.
To be able to make a warranty claim, a relevant purchase receipt, receipt and delivery note must be included with the complaint. Please note that special warranty conditions may apply to products from different suppliers and manufacturers. Therefore, please pay attention to this when you read the product description that applies to your specific product.
Our knives has a Limited 10 Year Warranty and for easy handling in the future for any claim. Register your product directly through our Warranty registration form.
11. Complaints for Private Individuals
When ordering via www.eka1882.com, you always have the right to complain about your product within 3 years from the date you received the product. If you wish to claim a defect in the product, you should contact EKA1882 AB as soon as possible after the defect has been discovered. For the complaint to be valid, it must always be made within a reasonable time after you have noticed or should have noticed the defect. A complaint made within two months of the defect being discovered is always considered to have been made within a reasonable time.
We recommend that you inspect the products when you receive them and that you report any damage to the packaging directly to the carrier or delivery point and note the damage on the shipping documents.
You can complain about a defective product by contacting us through our Return & Complain form. After approved your complaint you will be emailed a return slip, before sending the product back to us. You are responsible for the condition of the returned product from the time you receive the product until EKA1882 AB receives it. We therefore recommend that the product be sent in its original packaging and well-packed with a trackable shipping. EKA1882 will not redeem any products that are returned against cash on delivery or COD.
Once EKA1882 has received the returned product and has determined that the complaint is valid, we will compensate you in accordance with applicable law. This means that the defect will be remedied or that we will replace the defective product with a new one. If this is not possible or if EKA1882 otherwise deems it more cost-effective, EKA1882 may instead make a refund of the amount you paid for your order, including the return shipping costs. Please note that EKA1882 has the right to refuse a complaint if it turns out that the product is not defective according to applicable law and that EKA1882 will not in such cases reimburse any possible return shipping costs.
12. Applicable Law and Disputes
If you have any questions regarding complaints, your right of withdrawal or other questions regarding your order, you are welcome to contact our [customer service (link to /customer-service)].
As a consumer, you can also contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) via arn.se or by post to Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm. In the event of any dispute, EKA1882 will follow ARN's recommendations. As a consumer, you also have the opportunity to complain via the EU's online dispute resolution platform, which you can reach via https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Disputes between companies shall be settled by the general courts.
These Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with Swedish law.
